UCW Tuition Refunds & Payment Terms

All tuition and fees are listed in Canadian dollars, and are subject to change anytime without notice.

Tuition Refund Policy

Written notification is required for all cancelations, withdrawals, and dismissals.  Refunds will be based on the receipt date of written notification.

Refunds before the course(s)begins:

Students who cancel prior to the start of their program or course(s) receive 100% refund of all monies paid except the following:

  • The non-refundable Application Fee

Refunds after the course(s)begins:

Students withdrawing from a course(s) during the first week of study will have 100% of their tuition course fees refunded except the following:

  1. The non-refundable Application Fee
  2. Any other non-refundable fees as identified on the student's fee schedule

Students withdrawing from courses after the first week of the official course start date receive no refund of course fees for courses that have commenced and in which they are currently enrolled.  Any courses the student has registered in and that have not commenced will be eligible for a full refund, less the above referenced non-refundable fees.

International Students

International student's 1st term payment is non-refundable unless their Study Visa is denied.  The student must present the School with the denial letter in order to process the refund of the 1st term payment.

Refunds after the course(s) begins:

Students withdrawing from courses during the first week of study will have 100% of their course fees refunded except the following:

  1. The non-refundable Application Fee
  2. The non-refundable International Registration Fee

Students withdrawing from courses in which they are enrolled after the first week of the scheduled course start date receive no refund of fees.  Any courses the student has registered in and that have not commenced will be eligible for a full refund, less the above non-refundable fees.

* Total Program Cost refers to fees owing for the entire program of study (i.e. BCom, MBA).  Students registering in less than an entire program of study, i.e. those registering in individual courses, are not eligible for the Advanced Payment Fee Reduction Program.

**Full-time studies are defined in the Student Calendar.

Please Note:   Students who withdraw or are dismissed from any course shall be charged an administrative processing fee.
