Third-Party Billing Plan
There are two third-party-billing options available for tuition payments. The British Columbia Employment Insurance Tuition Assistance Program This program provides aid to laid-off workers whose jobs directly involved harvesting, hauling and primary manufacturing of wood fibre in British Columbia. Eligible candidates may receive up to $5,000 to enrol in one or more courses over a period of one year. The funding can be applied to tuition, mandatory fees, and required text books. The British Columbia Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) Under certain circumstances, the WCB will provide assistance for candidates to return to school in order to retrain for a new career.
