From our Students’ Perspective
Being a tight-knit community allows us to be in closer contact with our students and ensure that they are receiving a value-filled learning experience. Here are some thoughts our students shared with us: “After taking many years off work to raise my children, I decided to re-enter the workforce by getting an MBA. I chose to study at UCW because of its high calibre staff and small classroom sizes. I have found the entire school staff to be incredibly supportive and have been amazed at how my professors regularly go out of their way to ensure I am getting the most out of this experience. I am looking forward to returning to work and know that UCW has provided me with the tools to succeed wherever I end up.” A. They were approachable and regularly created very dynamic classroom settings. In addition to course material, they offered practical advice like which additional certifications to get or what companies were really looking for. My professors also helped to co-ordinate a volunteer opportunity at SITE BC so I could gain the project management experience I needed.
