A PASSION FOR LIFE-LONG LEARNING

Ray Suzanne is a mature student with a love of learning. For years Ray put off his dream of pursuing his MBA because of business commitments. However, when Ray learned about University Canada West's flexibility and online classes, he leapt at the opportunity to turn his dreams into reality.

"I was going to do this 12 years ago, but I felt that there were a huge number of barriers put up in front of you at major universities  - I'm not sure why," Ray said. "What I like about University Canada West, is that it is very flexible. Also, I'm in class with 10, 12, 14 students so this is more private tutoring. It's incredible."

As a committed life-long learner, Ray appreciates the quality of instruction at University Canada West.

 "I believe education can change the world and University Canada West is giving me the opportunity to do that," Ray said. "The instructors are really top notch. I've had previous instructors who are just academics but here, they're both academics and experienced professionals in their fields.

Ray loves the flexibility online learning affords him, as well as the international connections it's allowed him to make.

 "There are people all over the world and the country in your classes," Ray said. "Online is the future of the world and business and I'm learning those skills. It's taught me some really valuable skills like how to develop and maintain strong ties with a team online."

In addition to all of the academic and practical skills he's gained, Ray says the best part of his experience at the university has been the impact it's made on him personally.

"It's allowed me to have incredible personal growth and build confidence," Ray said. "I'm a better person for it."
