Third Party Payment Agreement

Need help with tuition costs

There are a few third-party billing options for paying tuition. The British Columbia Employment Insurance Tuition Assistance Program is targeted to laid-off workers whose jobs are directly involved in the harvesting, hauling and primary manufacture of wood fiber in British Columbia.

If you are eligible, you may receive up to $5,000 to enroll in one or more courses over the period of one year. This funding can be applied to tuition for a wide range of academic, trade and other courses, along with mandatory fees and required books. For more information on whether you qualify for this program, head to the Employment Insurance’s official website.

Another third-party billing option is through the British Columbia Workers’ Compensation Board. Under certain circumstances, the WCB will cover expenses for you to return to school and retrain for a new career. More information can be found on their website, http://www.worksafebc.com.

For both of these payment options, you will be required to discuss the payment process with our Student Services Office.
